Outdoor Dreams provides turn-key service to ensure that you are left with an outdoor kitchen that is immediately ready to enjoy. With Outdoor Dreams, there is no dealing with multiple contractors or vendors. From the kitchen's structure to the countertop to the appliances and accessories to the utilities (gas, electrical, and water), Outdoor Dreams handles everything!
Investment
Single-island outdoor kitchens (aka Grill Islands) typically start around $20,000 and can reach $45,000+ with additional appliances and accessories. Pricing includes the masonry structure, granite countertop, appliances and accessories, and all required utilities (gas, water, and electrical).
Larger, multi-island outdoor kitchens typically range from $60,000 to $100,000. Along with additional appliances and accessories (and their corresponding increased utility costs), these multi-island structures often include bar-top seating, backsplashes, and arbors with pendant lamps.

Timeline
Outdoor Dreams aims to complete grill islands and outdoor kitchens within 6-12 weeks of a signed contract. These projects typically only require 5-10 days of labor, but the overall timeframe often depends on utility permitting, appliance/accessory supply chains, and countertop lead times.

Materials
An outdoor kitchen can be constructed out of almost any building material. At Outdoor Dreams, we specialize in outdoor kitchens constructed of traditional masonry materials with granite countertops.
This outdoor kitchen features a chocolate grey thin stone veneer.
Masonry Structure
At Outdoor Dreams, our grill islands and outdoor kitchens are typically constructed using traditional masonry methods. Our preferred materials include a variety of natural stone veneers and brick. We prefer these materials for their long-term ability to withstand nature's harshest elements. This durability ensures a long-lasting outdoor kitchen that will add the most value to our clients' homes.
This outdoor kitchen features a honed black granite.
Granite Counter
At Outdoor Dreams, we believe the best choice for outdoor kitchen counters is granite. These stones are durable and require little maintenance because they are treated to prevent staining. Other natural stone slabs (like bluestone, limestone, or sandstone) can be used, but they require the regular application of sealants to prevent stains from cooking and mother nature.
Custom-formed and poured concrete can also be used for outdoor kitchen counters, but it too requires regular sealants and has a high risk of cracking.

Bar Top Seating
Bar-top seating is a popular addition to outdoor kitchens because it adds value and enjoyment to the structure. Bar-top seating is a fun change of pace for casual dining and/or cocktails. It also provides seating for family members and guests to keep the grill master company while cooking.

Cover & Shade
If the location of your outdoor kitchen is exposed to heavy sun or if you would like to be able to grill on a rainy day, consider covering your outdoor kitchen with an arbor, pergola, or pavilion structure. Along with providing shade and protection from the elements, a cover structure also provides the framework needed to mount fans, lights, speakers, and outdoor televisions.
When budgeting, add $3,000 - $6,500+ for an arbor, $8,500 - $20,000+ for a pergola, and $25,000 - $40,000+ for a pavilion. All pricing assumes custom structures and varies depending on size, design, & materials.
