We're hiring Landscape Designers
This position is responsible for creating all conceptual designs and relevant construction details for each assigned project. Entry-level and experienced applicants are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Must be located in the Richmond, VA metro area. Relocation assistance will be considered if needed.
Must be detailed oriented and have a strong design aesthetic.
Must be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Experience working with Dynascape or another CAD-based design software is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field is strongly preferred.
Certified Horticulturalist designation strongly preferred.
Description
Conduct site survey with Production Manager.
Create project base map with grade measurements.
Review property due diligence documents with the Production Manager, Project Accountant, and Project Developer.
Conduct design collaboration meetings with Project Developer, Production Manager, and Project Accountant.
Create project conceptual designs for each round of drawings.
Document all selections for each project.
Create all landscape and lighting takeoffs with each round of drawings.
Provide any necessary take-offs and specifications for estimating and production.
Create construction details for all projects in coordination with the Production Manager.
Answer any design-related questions the field staff may have.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and skill.
Two weeks paid time off annually.
